less than 150 hours until game time.
SE Missouri was 4-7 in I-AA last year I am going to go with:
UC - 34
SE Missouri 7
Arkansas beat them 63-7 last year so hopefully we can have a nice game to get the offense understood.
For those looking for a line I doubt there will be one considering the IAA team we are playing.

Some more SEMO info:
57 of their players have never played above JUCO or HS. They've nearly completely turned their roster over (85 total).
They will employ at least two QBs in the game, as the the coach cannot decide on one (sound familiar?).
In 2006, SEMO rushed more than 60% of the time. Plus, all of their receivers are new.
The place kicker will also punt, as the punter was injured after falling off a ladder this summer.
==> SEMO will be, at best, a mediocre 1-AA team. They will be forced to throw when it becomes obvious that, if Rutgers couldn't run on UC, how the heck will SEMO move the ball on the ground. Once the QB, under duress, puts the ball in the air, Mickens and Company will have a field day.
I predict at least one defensive TD as UC rolls, 38+ to zip. SEMO will have less than 150 yards total offense.

I think you guys are under estimating the QB battle. Clearly both Mauk and Grutza will see a lot of time and they are still trying to win the #1 job. So I guarantee the ball will be flying all over the field. I say UC 56 to 14. They'll score the 2 td's on the reserves.

Short of UC turning the ball over deep in Bearcat territory I cannot see SEMO scoring...
Bearcats- 59
SEMO- 0

OK, this team is really bad. I wonder if Kelly will keep the pressure on to get the WRs and QBs as much practice as possible. However, it sounds like our backups provide more competition in practice. Could be equivilant to a large attendence at a practice.

A shutout wouldn't surprise me at all, although it only takes one bad bounce to spoil it. It will be interesting to see what Kelly does if they get a big lead (28+ points), which is very likely. Does he bring in Pike? Stick with Mauk to get him more reps? Does he go conservative, or keep on throwing the ball?
Normally, I'm not a big fan of "running up the score". If it's 35-0 early in the third, there is no reason to be throwing lot of deep balls or running no-huddle offense. But in this case, with the QBs still learning the offense, staying aggressive might be the best course of action.
I predict a final score of 44-7. The kid is going to miss an XP and split 2 FG tries, the offense scores 5 TDs and the defense adds one, while SEMO puts together one decent drive in the middle of the game for a score.

Kelly hinted this week that, if the game gets out of control, Pike will play.

Hey, I predicted a missed extra point, and we got three. I wonder if that works for touchdowns.
I hereby predict the Bearcats will score 3 touchdowns next week (if they score 9, we will know that I have POWER!)

How many points are attributed to the defense. I am sure of 21, but I remember there being 28.
