Before you move and or close a thread please read the contents
I don't see how this thread http://frontier.cincinnati.com/blogs/lonniewheeler/
should have been closed/moved.

This has been fixed. It was my error. I confused Lonnie's article that I had posted on the General board, with Lonnie's blog that Three Rivers had posted on the Basketball board.

And technically it didnt disappear, I just closed it because I thought at the time is a duplicate.

yeah,,, apparently you can't talk about Jeff Wyler either, even if you do post it the general forum, he is a member of UC, and does have an affect on UC Basketball

The Jeff Wyler post I deleted was simply a link to an unrelated sexual discrimination suit involving one of his dealerships. I don't see how this is related to UC athletics.

It's about the integrity of our university's board. Jeff Wyler IS the university of Cincinnati, and he made decisions about our basketball team based on integrity and "criminal" behavior, it is 100% related to our university, besides that... it was in the General Forum.

You are way to selective, you can post about OSU which has nothing to do with UC yet, even though it was an outside article...about someone involved intimitly with our university you take it off...

whatever.... Yeah yeah I know your rules you are allowed to put your spin on anything... hello CNN, MSNBC Foxnews... you have another outlet that determines the spin on everything.

Posting a general link without some commentary or opinion attached to it to explain why you you think it is relevant it is not enough. Go ahead and repost it if you like but this time, put some content behind it to explain why you think it is relevant to this forum community.

Regarding our moderation tactics, I very much like what another admin said to me not too long ago. I am paraphrasing here but I think you will understand. You are a guest in our house. Because it is our house, we get to set the rules. If you don't like the rules, then leave. It really is that simple.

And regarding "where I stand", unless you can read my mind across an internet connection, do not presume to know what I think and what I feel. You are in absolutely no position to make such a statement.

I agree with Catmandu. I think the Jeff Wyler post (which I did not see) is related to UC athletics. Anything related to UC is indirectly related to UC athletics. In the same way Huggins was fired because of his perception and how that affected academics and UC as a whole. I think if news comes out about Cox's tax troublews it is relevant too. These guys made themselves part of UC athletics and anything they do privatley or publicly is relevant.

But you are the boss and ultimately I defer to your rules whether I agree or not.

Richard... come on, don't insult me like that.

Actually I like Don!

I support Don!(When he's not running naked through the woods) and Bobby Brannen (Wait, is that an Ohio kid Huggins recruited that made it pro? LOL)

LOL.. JonB I never realized how much you look like Mr. Smithers... having not seen you in a while but on this board, that image is really leaving an impression! Just go all gray and you've got it!
