Ok - so I have the Big Ten network and was happy to be one of the few in Ohio that got to see Michigan lose to Appilacian State. Has there ever been a bigger upset in college football?

Off hand I can't think of one, but if UC runs the table this year, including the national championship game, in the world of upsets and improbabilities for 2007/8 college football, no one will remember UM/App. St.

I only care about Michigan 1 game a year and unfortunately Lloyd Carr has a poor record in that game

If you're going to dream - why not dream big? What could be better than UC and W.VA, both unbeaten playing at Nippert for the BEast title and a shot at the national championship game, with UC winning, and then winning the final game of the season? It's not probable you say, well how many people would have taken App. St. even up over Michigan - it's my dream and so long as reality doesn't interfere - I'll keep at it. :D

I do hope we do "run the table", but wouldn't that put BK in line for the Michigan job? ...just askin....

Yes it would and I would be so scared on my sky high cloud from having just won the Nat'l Camp I would not know what to do! :D

There have been a lot of bigger upsets in college football. While this was an upset it is being over hyped as such. App. State is not chopped liver, they are the 2 time defending National Champ of D-1AA or what it is now called. Michigan was ranked # 5 on name (tradition) only, they had not played a game so they had done nothing other than to be named Michigan to earn the # 5 ranking.

When you win back to back National Championships, as App. State has, you have some good football players on your team.
