Marquette pg Junior Cadougan tore his achilles tendon and is likely out for the season.

Rough...Marq is in for a long season.
That is sad to hear for that young man. Never want to see any young kids get hurt. That said, I hope he recovers fully and can make it back next year so we can beat them at full strength!

I hate to see that happen to anyone! Prayers for a full and speedy recovery.

man that really sucks for Marquette and the player. He was pretty highly rated out of high school. Marquette is going to be TERRIBLE this year.

They are going to be very young and Cadougan was expected to contribute.

I feel quite bad for his injury, but, I must admit while you don't hope for this against anyone (except maybe X) it would be nice to see other teams in the Big East bit with the injury bug while UC stays healthy this year...

Cincinnati has had there share of preseason injuries recently that have knocked players out for the season. The Bearcats know how this can affect your wins and losses during the season. As a fan I feel their coaches, team and fans pain. I wish him a speedy recovery too. I do not wish injuries for any team.

Well said. Knock on wood, I hope UC gets through this season healthy. It could be a great year.

Marquette has suffered quite a bit. I don't like this one bit and have nothing but sympathy for him and that team.
