Shoot! Was hoping Miami would make it 2 losses to MAC teams in a row for Mn.

And USF just beat Auburn in OT 26-23 (20-20 regulation). USF dominated in the second half from where I started watching it. It was 17-14 Auburn and USF's kicker missed 3 of 4 FG's. He finally made one to tie it and then the big call, on 4th and goal from the (long) 1 Jim Leavett elected to kick the FG and the kicker made it.
In OT Auburn scored 1st on a FG (only got 2 yards offense) and USF marched straight down and scored on a Grothe TD pass. I was very impressed with Grothe. He reminds me of Mauk with Grutza's running ability. Actually he is not as seasoned as Mauk, but as a (redshirt) freshman I was very impressed.
The defense looked good, but I don't think Auburn's offense is going to scare many people this year. USF is definitely good. What a great week for the BE (for the most part) in football!

I read somewhere that San Diego State lost a key player a week or so ago.
