Hats off to Dustin Grutza. Today, he was BK's Next Man...and he delivered with flying colors. Did he make mistakes? Sure! But, in the end...did he get the job done? Absolutely!

After today, I feel better about the depth on this team. It is good to know that the offensive team is in good hands...no matter whose hands it happens to be!!!

Keep the OOC victories coming...and keep improving for the BE schedule. I am still concerned about the mistakes and how they may cost us a game down the road...but that is what growing throughout the season and being a better team in November(as BK has harped on) is all about(USC just had the luckiest break on a kickoff return as I write this).

Go Cats...Trample the Thundering Herd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree that Dustin Grutza did a great job. I was surpised that Mauk was not playing. Didn't know he was injured. Not a good sign.

It seems to me that Mauk isn't really injured, just really sore. I think that Kelly wanted to rest Mauk in an easy win situation and if it was necessary, then Mauk could come in and play and things weren't going well for Grutza.
