Hilarious.

Oregon State clobbers Idaho something like 60-10.

UC moves up big time in the Sagarin Ratings within in two rankings spots of Ohio State.

It's fun now and should be enjoyed, but anyone floating on cloud 9 should take a good look at our BE schedule.

The BE schedule will not play like Miami or any of the non-conference opponents. The BE is tough, hence the BEast! After what I have seen the past three games, and two more to work out some kinks, there is plenty of reason for optimism. I do not advocate buying Sugar Bowl tickets on E-Bay just yet, but....don't dampen the dreams we haven't had within my lifetime. One game at a time and no looking forward.

Keep rollin' Cats!

Let's start by putting aside the last home game of the year - looking at the rest of the schedule, is there any team on there that we do not have a legitimate shot at beating? UofL will be tough, USF at their place may actually be even tougher, but based on what we've seen to date, of our team and those on our schedule, we have a reasonable chance to win every one of them. That doesn't mean we're going to win them all, it just means that we will go in to each of those games with enough confidence to expect that not only will UC play well, but to come out with a victory. And by the end of the season, hopefully that will apply to the Mountaineers as well.

Now - how many people 5 years ago, and be honest with yourselves, would have thought that UC would be highly competitive in a BCS conference within 5 years? 6-7 years ago who would have thought UC would even be in a BCS conference? I'd like to enjoy just how far we have come.

By the way - why is Notre Dame in the BEast (for everything except football)? What is it, exactly, that they bring to the conference aside from football, and the way they are playing this year not even in football, that they are allowed to be the only football playing school that is not required to play its football in the conference? and to potentially take a BEast bowl slot?

I do not find it hilarious that UL loses to UK. I root for all Big East teams except when we are playing them. I was hoping to face an undefeated UL team when they come to Nippert. It'll just make the win that much sweeter.

You want to root against someone this year, pick Notre Dame. If they become bowl eligible they get to take away one of the Big East bowl tie-ins. So root for 5 wins or less from them.

Charlie Weis is working overtime to make sure the BE doesn't lose a bowl tie-in this year. I have the utmost confidence in him, and his offense.

Does Navy get a Car Care Bowl tie in this year with a winning record.

I can remember a News Record article after the three game series with O$U was announced dreaming of filling the stadium every game and asking why not a National Championship in Clifton. I forget who wrote the article.
