Now defunct Rumor

I heard a rumor last night the if Louisville and Cincinnati were both undefeated then gameday would have been at Cincinnati for homecoming. After the Louisville loss we will never know and who knows what would happen at Rutgers, but it was nice to hear. True or not by looking at the schedule that week it was a possibility and i don't think that could ever be said before.

That would be highly unlikely anyway. Do you think we're going to win at Rutgers? Of all the tough BE games on our schedule (and there are plenty of them) I'd put that one in the least likely category. RU is an excellent fb team that will be absolutely laying for us in a very hostile environment.

It isn't that it was going to happen it was that there is even a mention of Gameday going to Cincinnati.

I don't see the problem with beating Rutgers. The key to beating them is to shut down the running game and survive their weak passing game, which we did well last year. And I think we will score more on them this year.

The difference seems to be that Rutgers has improved there passing game, which might make it more difficult to sell out against the run. We shall see.

Plus Rutgers is at home and probably a little pissed off that their dream season was ruined by UC :). UC has to come out ready to play that day, as coming out flat could put the game over before it starts.
