It looks like U.C. is making an effort to promote the Women's program this year.

Maybe it's the football thing rubbing off, or just the general excitement at all the improvements to UC sports happening, but I feel kind of excited to see what's going to happen this year and even more going forward the next few years. I go to one or two womens' games at UC every year, just to see what's happening there. I think they will be much improved this year, and this new coach from UConn looks like she is going to get things done at UC.

Now you can all have at me for going to a women's game, but at some schools (UConn for one) they have a lot of butts in the seats for the women's games. I want UC to win at everything.

^So what is wrong with supporting other UC sports besides Mens Basketball, Football, and Baseball? I think Elliot can raise this program up at least to a respectable level and maybe even higher.

Women may not play at the same level as men, but they play just as hard. In fact, many times they play harder. I enjoy watching the women once in a while, and the thousands of fans at UConn's games (and Duke, and Carolina, and Tennessee, etc.) probably agree with me. I hope Coach Eliot gives me one more reason to be proud of UC. Harsh!

I think that they should let minors in free. Anytime that I have taken my daughter to a UC woman's game, I spent most of the game in the concessions line buying her drinks and food. The attendance is lousy and if they allowed minors in for free, they would make it up in concessions. They do a one time a year free for YMCA athletes.
