I never take that as any kind of rational comparison. Some teams match up better with others.

This does not mean anything. Some of teams have bad and good days. For example, a few years ago, in basketball UK beat UC that beat UL which it beat UK earlier in December before the NCAA tourney.

Scores like this are one of the reasons computer generated rankings have UC rated so highly. The AP and Coaches poll have a lot more inertia and human bias and are thus much slower to react.
