Anyone recall when the ticket packages for basketball usually go onsale?
I would prefer a season ticket but ticket prices where I would like to sit are a little pricey so I will do the usual, go to a few games and watch the rest on TV.

Thanks UC Marketing, but I know how to order tickets. When will the mini packages be announced and put onsale?

I believe there are Bearcat Lair tickets available for $150 for the season. This was advertised in the Cincy Enquirer. Seats are not great but reasonable & it gets you in the game.

IMO, those seats are horrible.

Not really. It's always better to be there then to watch it at home. Those that say otherwise are either strapped for $ or just lazy.
I've had seats in this area since I graduated and lost the ability for front row student section. Are they the best? No. I'm center court and my ticket price for 2 seasons tickets dropped over $600 in price this year. How awesome is that? Now, I wish I could just get to more than 1-2 games a year.

This is the prime push for season ticket sales so there will be no offering of individual game tickets or mini plans until we are closer to the start of the season.

I'm ecstatic about the Bearcat Lair seats. They are far better seats than I've had in the past paying full price for mini-plans. I fully expected that they would be in the top corners, not halfway up @ mid-court.
Great job UCMarketing! (Except that they actually cost $200/seat, when you figure in the extra UCats donation, which I never saw mentioned anywhere.)

I got the young professional package this year and it is awesome. $310 per seat and $50 UCAT donation. My seats are front row. That is right, front row.

The seating chart for the arena shows the Lair being in sections 203, 207, 219, & 223. These are baseline to behind the baskets not near center court. Is this info wrong? If they were in Row 16 closer to center court I would consider a purchase.

That is wrong. I have row 17 in Section 205.

I have an idea, everyone can have a decent seat, if we just move all bb home games to US Bank arena. Much better venue to watch a game, from everywhere!

the ticket office said there are actually plenty of seats in 206 as well, which is right at mid-court

We tried playing at the coliseum and the attendance stunk, the atmosphere sucked, the fan participation was horrendous. Why would you want to take the games off campus?

Can't go on saturday...gotta work
If you go try and give us a synopsis of what you see......i would greatly appreciate it!
Can't wait for the season to get started!
Perhaps UCmarketing can set us straight. I looked on the gobearcats website and could only find the following:
"Basically, UC will put on sale a block of the seats in the upper level (non-seat backs) and price it at $150 for the 18-game schedule."
So theoretically this could include the upper corners as some have said (and as I thought was the case) or it could include row 17 in section 205.
I can assure you that after paying roughly $300 per seat for season tix in section 204, row 29 in 2005, I would gladly pay roughly 1/2 that amount to sit closer to both center and to the court in 2009. Something tells me this isn't right.

The bearcat lair section is the entire upper deck from row 16 up..this includes the corners and halfcourt.

I just bought two Bearcat Lair season tickets in row 21, section 205 for a buddy and myself, and the total cost out the door after fees was $316 ($158 per seat).
And for those asking about the Miami (OH) game at US Bank, I asked the ticket rep about that game and he said it IS included in the package. He said your seats for the Miami (OH) game should be in a similar location area at US Bank as your season tickets at the Shoe.

I will add on to say that this season ticket package is an AMAZING deal. I was skeptical at first, but sure enough the package is ANY upper deck section row 16 or higher. This means that you can still tickets in section 205, for example, get directly center court and still down in rows 21-22 currently.
