UK announced today that they are doing an internal investigation on John Wall. Apparently his Coach was also an agent. The NCAA is not involved yet and this is strictly an UK investigation. They will continue to let him practice until this is resolved. This was reported by WLW700 radio.

not as off topic as one might think because Lance Stephenson is being investigated also by the NCAA Committee on Amatuerism. He and John Wall are like 2 peas in a pod.

Must have missed Lance playing for a sports agent.

Lance Stephenson is not being investigated because of an agent relationship. Completely different issues. Get a clue Ralph.

How so? There hasn't been any connection between Lance Stephenson and an agent. His amatuerism issue is with the Born Ready Internet reality series, and as far as we are led to believe (from his father and others) there was no monetary benefit to the family. It appears that John Wall will have to repay an undisclosed sum to his AAU coach/agent, and will likely miss some court time. There is no such inference for Lance. The only commonality is that they are both waiting to hear from the NCAA. Period. End of story.

Lance is being investigated by the NCAA Amatuerism Committtee, he may be a pro. They are investigating him for money made from Born Ready and what if anything he may have received from Under Armor. If you profited from being a basketball player you are a pro. Does not matter if it was because of a Born Ready deal, Under Armor, or getting stuff from an agent. It is the same committee.

"Cincinnati freshman Lance Stephenson was picked as the Big East preseason rookie of the year. Bearcats coach Mick Cronin said Wednesday he's hoping he'll know within two weeks whether Stephenson has been cleared to compete, as the NCAA Eligibility Center continues to delve into his amateur status. Stephenson was just cleared to practice academically."

You have been going out of your way to tie him to any eligibility issue you can every since your hero was dropped.

I believe this committee is also taking a closer look at Renardo Sydney of Miss. St., as i recall from the ESPN bottom line scroll.

Sidney is the most high profile case, since his parents went and lived in LA the past season, and were renting a $4 K per month house.
