UConn fans show support for Howard

All the players and many fans wore Howard's jersey number, 6, on T-shirts to honor the cornerback who was stabbed to death Oct. 18 outside a campus dance.

I was wondering about how this week should play out before the game. Will we boo them onto the field, or cheer? When is the "let's show respect and be nice" period over?

I don't want to look like classless fans.

That is a good question. There is a difference between booing an opposing team onto the field and being classless. In this case, we should honor Howard and the team before the game and then, we can hope to remain classy from that point on as well - :)
