Hall Hired as New Women's Coach

Interesting, not a lot of fanfare about this hire....hope Hall is the right person to take our women's program to new heights!

I admit I don't have much knowledge about womens basketball but this doesn't sound like a very impressive hire. Then again does it really matter?

I think it does, I want to see UC successful in all sports...not to mention I think it goes along way to be great at both men and womens basketball.

Tough to make a really impressive hire when no one on campus actually cares about the sport. He was able to turn Louisiana-Lafayette into a winning program, hopefully he'll be able to do the same thing here. Maybe if the women's basketball program wins consistently people (especially students) will start coming to the games.

It's a huge hire. I've been around UC sports for a while, remember when Hall was in Louisville. I was awfully impressed with his recruiting then. All he's done since has backed up that impression. I'll miss Laurie -- thought she was a good coach -- but the program's in very very good hands.
