Besides what was happening on the field, what else did you see?

I saw:


A guy in a green bodysuit trying to crowdsurf up the student section
A guy in a gorilla costume trying to crowdsurf up the student section
Elmo
A guy in a penguin costume trying to crowdsurf up the student section
A guy in a moo cow costume
Bootsy Collins
Some jacka** kid making a big freaking deal about his Ohio State jersey, much to chagrin of the ENTIRE student section. It's not smart to anagonize a few thousand drunk college kids. He got yelled at, beer poured on, then eventually shoved before a Sheriff's Deputy came by to settle things down. Someone gave the kid a black 'BUCkeye State' teeshirt to wear, and he got a big cheer when he did put it on. Probably at the recommendation of the cop.
A very freaked out freshman looking kid in front of me during the fourth quarter because of the endless stream of expletives I found myself saying. I wasn't happy during most of the second half. Problem was, I was 100% sober, so I meant every word I screamed.


I'm going to miss being in the student section next year.

You know UC's gotta be good, Bootsy Collins made an appearance. He only shows up at sporting events in Cincinnati when the team's doing well.

Also memo to UC Marketing - if Bootsy comes to you and wants to record a song for the 'Cats please, please, please say no. The song he recorded for the Bengals in '05 was horrible.

UC marketing should give free jersey or sweater with UC logo to those fans wearing OSU gears. Ask them to wear the new one over old one or they can dump the OSU gears into basket. I know it would be very pesky if you see anyone with OSU jacket or jersey at the UC football game.

Cunningham and Cronin were on the sideline near the northeast corner of the stadium. I saw a great display of offensive power and less than impressive special teams and defensive play.

Bootsy was wearing a UC Jersey.

Not sure where you saw the jersey...when Bootsy walked by me he was wearing a red and gold jumpsuit with a red top hat

Bootsys song with the Bengals made me want to jump off the upper deck at the Bengals game. We may have been 11-5 that year but that song made the games just as embarrassing as 2-14.

Always love seeing Green Man!

I heard, but did not see nor confirm elsewhere, that Haruki Nakamura was on the sideline, which would make sense.

Nakamura was also at the game a few weeks ago when the Ravens had their bye week.

What I saw was an incredible Nippert stadium atmosphere - looked awesome on TV. The band sounded great also.
Its going to keep getting better - get used to being on national TV.

I saw Bill Cunningham and Lance McCallister's son and dad.

I of course saw Buckeye Herbie walking around.

I saw sky-divers that were on fire.

I saw UConn had an alarmingly tall Chinese male cheerleader.

I saw Batman and Spiderman, and a Dad having to tell his son it wasn't the real spiderman (regardless the silly string being sprayed everywhere)

But the funniest moment came during a QB draw when the girl in front of us screamed "Collaros is a ball hog!"

Not as many fun things this time around.

I saw:


Some dumba** students breaking the aluminum stands behind me. Stupid kids.
A guy in a red body suit crowdsurfing simultaneously with a guy in a green bodysuit
FIVE parajumpers??? That was awesome.
Some interesting signs, most of which suggesting WVU sodomizes pigs or sisters.
Not as many Jason masks as I would have liked. But then again, masks impede beer drinking.
Some cool new 'Third Down' graphics. I liked all of the horror movie references.
Them playing 'On a Boat' by The Lonely Island cracks me up every time, and it's a big hit with us college kids.


What did you all see at the game that wasn't on the field?

I'm a lurker here but I was kicked in the knee by a WVU fan. Wasn't pleasant :-(

I saw a student section looking great and energized.
A WVU female band member get her uniform in the toilet.

I saw some ugly shouting matches between UC and WVU fans in the restroom at the west portion of the stadium...used to be Tangeman, don't know the name. I didn't care for that. Other fans should be able to come here without getting harassed. Although I didn't see who started it.

I sat in a section with lots of WVU fans. It sounded like banjo music whenever they started to talk.

I saw three reps from the Allstate Sugar Bowl leaving the stadium about half way through the fourth quarter.

No WVU fans with moonshine. Y'all disappoint me.

I saw Bill Stewart congratulate Kevin Huber on his induction into the ring of honor. Classy move for WVU coach.

I also saw the guy in the red unitard. Tard being the key word. :D

After the hoopla about not letting the W. VA. band on the field at half time I was specifically looking for them, and couldn't find them - where were they? I certainly didn't hear them during the game.

This was in the Tangeman women's bathroom on the lower level. She was pulling on it with the door open because she couldn't get it out after the auto flusher came on
