Bellarmine is ranked #1 in Div II in most polls. Although they lost to Louisville by 88-65 they won their last game against Ky State 84-67.

Hopefully they've got enough horses to force our team to play hard the whole game, in fact I hope it's a close game. Players (and coaches) learn much more in a close game.

I look for a much improved team over last week on the defensive end. I hope they get some push, but look for the Cats to roll.

Bearcats played Bellarmine twice (in Ed Badger era) as regular opponent. Both games were 10 pt-ish W as I remember.

I look for the Cats to come out slow, look lost, and struggle. Stephenson will probably have a similar game to what he did at the last game.

I just wanted to make a random prediction post to match Boos'. I honestly have no idea how they will look or perform.

I am thinking the exact opposite. I think the Cats will come out and really focus on defense. Im sure mick has them doing defensive focused drills all week. We need to get better on defense or we won't have success in the BEAST. We have plenty of guys that can put the ball in the basket. The challenge this year will be teaching those talented offensive players to defend and have the desire to play scrappy defense.

With amount of offensive firepower we have this year it is imperative that 1 or 2 guys sacrifice their offensive stats for defense and team play ala Stanley Burrell a few years ago for "X". If we have a guy or two do that, this team will be very special, IMO.

Ahhh, are we taking shots at fellow members???
Trust me the cats will take this team seriously.Like i said guys are fighting for spots.Yancey will be double teamed through out the game so lets see his passing skills.and Lance will put up atleast 20.

If we are taking shots at other members, let's stop right away. Have a discussion not an argument. Please.

I'm sure those losses are fresh in the players minds... :D
