Who will cover (WVU -7)?

I'm going to take USF 37 - WVU 31, they beat them the last time they played and USF is 11-2 at home in conference play since joining the big East

I like WVU by 3 in a game similar to the WVU/Rutgers game last year. It is tough to play on the road on what I guess will be an electric Friday night, but I think WVU wins.
Who do you have? WVU
Who will cover (WVU -7)? USF
Who do you want? I don't know the answer to this one. I can't figure it out. Do I want another team in the Big East to be considered a top level program or do I want WVU to be in the top 5 when we play them?

I think WVU will be up for this one. West Virginia 34, SoFlo 20. It will be close early, but then Slaton or White will break a couple of runs, and SoFlo won't have the firepower to answer back.

Devine will break USF's back. USF will probably be able to match up with Slaton and White for a while, but Devine seems primed to break off a couple of big runs each game.

I have to say that WVU is going to put a whooping on USF and will cool them down for a couple of weeks.

I don't have "a dog in this fight" but as a now ardent BEast booster I would prefer to see W. VA. in the national title game, but if the Mountaineers are to lose a game I would much prefer it to be in November rather than September, to a team in Red and Black not gold and green.

Funny, I had a meeting today and I used that phrase.....after Vick's mess makes me think I may want to keep that one in my back pocket for a while.:D

Can't stand WVU. I went to the game last time they played here, they were loud, rude, and obnoxious on OUR turf. Besides, they don't have a 'No criminals allowed sign' at the door to the stadium in Morgantown, and they should.

Interesting that you say that - the last time the Mountaineers were here my season seats were right next to where they were sitting and I got to talking with a half dozen or more W. VA. fans. They were lound in support of their team as you would expect, but they were not only polite in my conversations with them, but they were complimentary about our team, the program and the direction it was taking. They even liked Nippert. Perhaps the group of people I was next to were not typical, but this bunch was downright nice.

And they really like that we served beer at the game.

It's funny, but I had a similar experience with the Marshall fans last week. Marshall fans are renowned for being obnoxious in their support of their team, but the ones I met were (while loud in their support) really polite.
I think a big part of this is that when you a) "travel" a lot of fans and b) win on the road quite a bit, your fans are going to irritate the heck out of the home crowd.

Travel fans are MUCH different than home fans. They typically have a little more money and aren't as "rough around the edges".

I would like to see USF win as I have a good friend who is a big Bulls fan, but I think WVU is too good and won't lose again to the Bulls.

I'll predict:
WVU 37
USF 24
USF will jump out early but the superior talent and athleticism of WVU wins out in the 2nd half.
