I'm going to have to agree. Matt Grothe is severely overrated.

I didn't think either ranked team USF has beaten showed anything at all against them. Both WVU and Auburn were turnover prone. Also, when WVU got into a situation where they had to throw, there were some gaping holes in USF's pass D even when they were playing nickel against the backup QB. I do give USF's defense credit for stopping Steve Slaton. You have to wonder if they can do that to Ray Rice.

USF's defense is awesome, reminiscent of the great Miami and FSU teams. I'll be very surprised if they lose down there. They smothered WVU. Their offense can be shaky, but with Grothe they score enough to win.

I was very impressed with both South Florida and West Virginia's and the ability of their respective offenses to turn the ball over. That was one pathetic first half of football on the offensive side of the ball.
