I think Brion should get his own thread. He is a 4 star dual threat QB who has recently decommitted from USF.
Doing to message board hunting it seems that USF may not be a great fit for him.
NOTE: he is the cousin of Nebraska great QB Tommy Frazier and they are now really after him.
I wouldnt consider him a lock to Nebraska though. Remember he chose USF the first time and not Nebraska. Also, the Huskers arent really using the dual threat QB anymore. They are a pounded it out team.

He is visiting Nebraska again. I also read on a Huskers board that he is set to visit Western Ky and Cincinnati and maybe Clemson. Apparently he is connected in some way to the coach at WKU.

Oh boy... connected usually means somehow it is going to benefit an adult.
If he visits here that is all we can ask for.

I think the head coach of WKU went to the same highschool as Carnes. Other than that I don't know if there is any other connection.
Apparently Ace Sanders, a 4* wr, is also now being recruited by us.

I am sure Nebraska is the team to beat but if your a dual threat QB you would be insane not to listen to Butch Jones. He made Lefeavor a househould name and helped him beat some of the most impressive records in NCAA football history

Perhaps very wishful thinking but I have heard some small and I mean SMALL rumblings that Bo polini might be Tenn #1 target.
If so that could change the recruitment of Carnes dramatically

A bit of good news regarding Brion Carnes is that he was waiting to see what USF did with coaches. Today USF announced they were not keeping any of the main coaches. This should really open up the Carnes recruitment.
