Butch's recruiting seems to be more intense and reaching into the south, more so than what our previous regime had done?!? Hopefully it pays dividends...go get 'em Butch. Would love to finish off this class with some huge gets!

He was being recruited hard by Georgia. My guess is that Coach Jancek suggested BJ take a look at him. From what I've read he decomitted from Alabama because he isn't sure where he'd fit in with their offense. I think he wants to play QB, and he is said to be a spread type QB. He probably realizes coming to UC might be just the offense he'd like to be a part of.

I read that Alabama was saying he'd have a shot at playing cornerback and lining up in the wildcat.
All indications are that he'd prefer to play qb or wr. In camps over the summer he was lined up at db and wr.
Many people think he's the best recruit in Georgia. Even the Alabama message boards make mention of it.
I think he still really likes Alabama but is waivering a bit because of the playing time and position question marks. Hopefully BJ can land him.

I dont buy the Bama hype with Sims. He basically said he couldnt see himself playing for such a boring offense. He wants a spread offense. I dont know if he leaves the south but I dont think Bama. Who knows though.

This is the kid that called Saban 1 day after the title to tell him he was decommitting.
