Since there are a lot of people mad about how the season is going in the last stretch I thought it would be fun to put a couple of the Bearcats in the land of Oz and what they need.
Scarecrow-Mick Cronin because he needs a brain for all sorts of reasons.
Tin Man-Yancy Gates because he needs a heart if he had one he would easily be one of the best big men in the country.
Cowardly Lion-Deonta Vaughn because he needs the courage to step up and be a senior leader and lead this team a good finish so we can hopefully get a tournament bid.
Those are my choices. Does anybody have something different they would do? This is purely for fun don't start arguments with anyone please.

You mean, don't bash anyone other than the people you just bashed?

I agree with this. Great players and coached do not make excuses for ANYTHING. Even a bad call at the end of the game can generally be accounted for by non excuse makers by saying "we should have done more so that bad call wasn't a possibility". I am not aiming this at Mick to say he is a bad coach because I am a big supporter of his but I would be lying if I said I have not heard what I felt were excuses being made over the course of his tenure. Whether it be fan attendance or the cards he was dealt when he took the job.
This is probably the main thing I would like to see change from him. We all know the cards he was dealt...he doesn't need to point it out as he has at least a few times. It comes across like he's trying to buy time which is understandable but I would respect it more if he said "there are no excuses" whether there are or not...period.

Yeah, this is awful! ... How do Shaun Simpson, Lobot, and Wedinger allow this to continue ...
Telling a 20 year old kid he has "no heart" ...
What is going on here lately ... It almost feels like an anti-UC forum ...

I agree with all of the above, but you can take out "almost".
