I think UC has a great shot at beating UConn next game. UConn is playing so bad right now. It was all they could do to beat DePaul at home their last game. If UC could beat UConn on the road this board would do an 180 flip! Mick would be the annointed one again. :)

Could go either way, but we've been complete turds on the road this year. It would help if we could get even a little bit of production from our preseason all-Big East player. I've loved DV for the time that he's been here, but he's been a huge no-show in vital parts of games this year. He missed some very big shots against ND and SU, and needs to bounce back in a big way.

Yea i like this thread more in the mood to talk about a game then a firing...if we manage to keep dyson and walker out of the lane it should really help our cause...question is who do we put on Dyson. I no Bishop is our best defender but he doesnt have the quickness to keep with him. So who do ya think in gonna check him

thinking uc has a good chance to win a feb. road game in the big east, or any road game for that matter, is wishful thinking. remember, we beat nd here as well. maybe if cronin stays home and bob cousy coaches them.

I',ve had this game down as a loss since day one as most have. But after watching UConn play their last couple games, they are playing so bad, I don't see how UConn can beat UC if they come to play. Thats the problem! Is the team that played ND going to show up or the team that played 30 tough,minutes against Syracuse. If UC loses it depends on how they lose. Not playing hard or the coach playing 40 guys I'm not going to be happy. If UC comes out and plays hard and they still get beat because the other team just played better and no coaching mistakes they get a pass. It's I love you, I love you not.

If we win out the rest of the season I for one will still be skeptical...There is no excuse for the number of breakdowns this team has "accomplished"

I hear ya. I want to see us play tough and hard nosed. If we win great, if we lose but play tough, aggressive Bearcat Basketball, I can't fault the players.
