The Enquirer says the UConn game is on CinCW. I assume for those with local cable, getting CinCw is no problem. I have Dish Network, and I cannot figure out where the game would be, and I cannot get CinCw over the air on any of my TV's (the channel 12 digital signals are a joke).
Anyone know for those like me with Dish or maybe those with Directv, how to get it? thanks.

I have DirectTV, CinCW is on channel 25.
You need an off air antenna to get the CW with Dish, it is channel 12-2 and you need to program your dish box to accept the off air HD local channel. You should have recieved a small antenna for your box that would allow you to receive this programming.

I have dish and it's on 456 or something like that. But you have to have full court to get that I think. Full court at 112 bucks at the start of the basketball season is a good deal if you want to watch Big East basketball because you will get all of UC games one way or the other. Last year full court went to a lower price about half way through the season.

BIG EAST Network Game of the Week
WKRC (CBS) Cincinnati, Ohio
According to the schedule for Channel 12 (CBS), the game will not be on. There will be a "Pet-a-Thon" showing. Channel 25 is the only local outlet handling the game.

it's listed because GoBearcats.com and Big East.org listed as WKRC. You are correct. Game is only on CinCW, ESPN360 and ESPN Full Court

Do you have to pay xtra $$ for ESPN Full court? I have Dish, and that's where I see the game listed.

Yes you have to pay extra for full court. For me at the beginning of the season it was 112 dollars. Last year mid season they had a mid season price 79 bucks. I'm not sure about this year.

It's $79. We have a bunch of full court games coming up so I went for it rather than spending $16 per game.

In another thread, someone said UC should figure out which station the game is on for all the dif subscribers (TW, DN, DTv..). I agree. On Beartnews when you click schedule it goes to the UC website which says the game is on WKRC!

The CW network on Dish using an antenna has THE worst picture quality ever! Might as well just listen to it on the radio.

For those with Time Warner Cincinnati with HD box it's on two channels 20 and 989. I think 989 is supposed to be HD, but it is just as crappy of a picture as channel 20, but it is about 2 seconds ahead of channel 20.

It does seem worse than most standard def broadcasts I've seen, on Fox Sports for instance.

We were lucky in Columbus to have it in HD on the CW. In this day and age, there is no reason for any sporting event to be in standard def.

You need to forward that to the Game Plan and Full Court folks at ESPN. All games standard def.

That's pathetic especially since you are paying money for Game Plan/Full Court! Absolutely ridiculous!!

HD equipment is expensive. Traveling with HD equipment is expensive. Broadcasting HD signals is expensive. If the costs outweigh the benefits, you won't see the game at all.

I agree, but since I used to work for the Mouse House, I know they won't do it as long as they can upconvert the signal.
