Being a candidate / nominee doesn't mean much. I think like 500 or 600 kids are selected as candidates each year before they actually make the picks.

Too bad that Coombs could not close the deal. But I agree, he was probably looking at where he would get some show time for the next level.

I think it was more that we don't use a FB hardly save for a few plays.

Durham has said that he wants to play LB at the next level. He'll probably wind up being a good one.

Louisville was in his top three along with Wisconsin. Not sure who the third team was.
