Wow. I honestly didn't see that coming. I didn't think he was going to be rated that high nationally.

Being a candidate / nominee doesn't mean much. I think like 500 or 600 kids are selected as candidates each year before they actually make the picks.

I'm assuming this is similar to the number of kids who are nominated as McDonald's All Stars for basketball?

Too bad that Coombs could not close the deal. But I agree, he was probably looking at where he would get some show time for the next level.

I think it was more that we don't use a FB hardly save for a few plays.

Durham has said that he wants to play LB at the next level. He'll probably wind up being a good one.

Louisville was in his top three along with Wisconsin. Not sure who the third team was.
