Hayes has said per Mike Dyer that he will wait until the end of the summer to make a college decision.

From what I've been hearing Hayes' Top 2 schools right now are Tennessee and Wisconsin.

At least we made his top 4. I'll be surprised if he ends up here, though.

I think this team is on the verge of blowing it up (more so than under Kelly) - landing some folks like this kid would go a long way.

Keep'em coming Butch!

Very surprised UC made his final 4 but that is great to see!

I've seen Jesse in a couple of Moeller's games. He's got good size at 6'4" 230. Could easily fill out and add another 25-30 pounds and be a solid college athlete. At 3 stars per Scout he's being heavily recruited by Nebraska and Wisconsin with official visits schedule for October.

Currently leads the undefeated Crusaders with 3.5 sacks.

Anyone think the Bearcats have a shot at him?

Would be nice to keep the local talent in town.

Sounds like a good local kid who could help make the local team D a monster!

Ummm.. Conner just went home and still has a broken fib. I honor your idea but ain't gonna happen and we should all throw our support behind Conner. He gva e a lot to this program on both the football and basketball side.

Hope I didn't get to serious there. If you have something to say to Conner and aren't on Twitter let me know via PM and I'll pass it along.

It was meant tongue in cheek. Given UC has churned out a recent big time player at the defensive end position I would hope this would carry some weight with Jesse. This is very much akin to the way Florida puts up inflated 40 times inside their locker room. These pseudo times have a dozen players running sub-4.4 with a few sub-4.3 seconds with the implied message to new recruits - "we can make you this fast too." But to anyone with half a brain it's obvious these stats are nothing but marketing hype problem is it works on 17 and 18 year old wide-eyed kids. Perhaps UC should join the propoganda club and implement something of the same.

Give Conner our best wishes for a speedy recovery from Bearcat Nation.

What I'm hearing is Oregon is his number one, and UC is not really in his final 4-5 teams. It's a reliable source but I really hope their wrong.
