The new Sports Illustrated (with the Celtics on the cover) have a lot of info on JMax with him becoming a primetime player off the bench. They even have a picture of him!

Jason had a great game and led the Pistons to a close win. Listed as CBS' player of the game with 15 points (7-11 shooting and 1-2 FT), 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 blocks. Not bad for an undersized player off the bench.

Good to see him playing well.

Maxiell's new 'do with purpose:
Jason Maxiell is not trying to make a fashion statement with his new closely cropped haircut. Maxiell decided to cut his hair shortly after learning that a close family member was beginning chemotherapy. "It's something that I have no idea what they're going through," Maxiell said. "So I did this to show them my support."
