Here's confirmation of what we already knew....college football recruiting rankings are crap. Just 39% of the selections in the top two rounds of the NFL draft were top 100 recruits in high school.

I actually think that is a pretty good argument for the Recruiting Analysts doing a very good job when you consider that there are 2,500+ recruits signed on average per year by Division 1 schools.

If 39% of them are made up of 100 guys and only 61% are made up by the other 2,400 guys that are signed each year, then it's a good argument that the recruiting gurus are pretty damn good.

this guy is dumb. 39% is huge considering this is after 4 years of coaching and development.

Completely agree..

I mean 39% is HUGE.. are u kidding me, Mo?

Sure, they are going to miss on some, but with the enormous number of recruits, that is pretty good. Actually reaally good

What I'd like to know is, how many of the other 61% were drafted in the other 5 rounds?
