I know we probably wont take any DBs this class but if we do I would like to see them pickup this kid. I think that continuing to pick up local players is key for helping build a bigger fanbase.

I think UC's making a mistake by not offering Dukes. I also think they are making a mistake by planning on not signing a single DB in this class. I would think you would want at LEAST 1 DB in every recruiting class.

I don't know much about Dukes so I can't speak to whether he's worthy of a UC offer, but I agree that it's a mistake to not take a CB in this class. I think we've targeted safeties but it seems like we're not going to take a CB. I know we have big needs at OL, DL, RB, and LB but if it were me I would take the absolute best CB that we could get even to just take one.

Why would you say they don't plan on taking one DB? There have been offers to many.

I agree that we should offer him. Maybe we will in the end. I just hope Coach Jones and co don't stray to far away from locking up local talent. I know they have been offering a ton of good players across the country, but I think it would be a mistake to forget our own backyard.

I've heard they will only take an "elite" DB prospect. Sure they've offered the elite DB prospects but realistically they aren't going to get any of them.

Now they may think Dukes just isn't that good, but I think offering him would go a long way in at least landing a Colerain trio.
