I heard on the Nuggets game that there are 40+ NBDL players currently in the NBA (could be wrong on the number as it is 100% off of memory. They may make more money if they go overseas, but it seems like the best chance to play in the NBA may be with the NBADL.

Total list of callups:

Though I would have no way of getting details, I wouldnt be surprised if most of those were 10 day contracts.

But look in the right hand column where the player currently is. 25 are currently in the NBA and due to how early it is in the season I doubt that many of them are 10 day. With the further success of the league there will be more and more players willing to play for less money in the NBDL (opposed to more $ in Europe).

One of these players not counted was Jason Collier who passed away at 28 due to a heart problem.

Never thought i'd see the day where a bench player on a 10-17(somewhere around there) team would get drafted to the d-league.

Good luck Ron.

OK. Didnt pay much attention to the 'current' column.

Ron has all the looks of a great basketball player....tall, athletic, decent build, above average shot. The problem is that just never translates into good quality play. He got to UC on his looks and it appears that is what got him into the NBDL also. He needs to get on a team near Hollywood cause his future isn't in hoops, it's in looking and acting like a hoops player. And that's not a joke either. I could see him being perfect for the movies where he has to portray an athletic black man.
