Warren Injured?

Some anonymous posters on Josh Katzowitz's blog are posting that he has a cast on one of his hands. Anyone have any further info?

I heard he had a cast on his hand and bruises on his face... he may have gotten into a scrap with someone.

I hope your right, and that it is something legal. It's tough to keep a criminal charge under wraps (unless of course you are Xavier).

He was in a car accident over the weekend and has a broken wrist... out 4-6 weeks, official announcement coming from the university today or tomorrow. No fights, just bad luck. If he can get back in 4 weeks, that would be great and allow Davis to get some early season experience that will help later on. Lets all hope it works out that way ;).

As I said, look for something official from UC today or tomorrow...

1530 Homer reported about an hour ago that Warren was, indeed, involved in an auto accident, injuring the "top" of his hand. The report stated that he's expected to miss about six games over three weeks.

Driving without a license, went left of center, left the scene. I am guessing there were other charges that would have been filed if he hadn't left the scene (DUI?).

Looks like Warren will be out 3 weeks or so and Cronin figures Mitchell to fill in first at guard for Vaughn.

Although I hope we can get Warren back asap it will be nice to get the younger kids prepared for the Beast schedule by playing more minutes in the first few games. Warren will be a nice addition when he comes back...especially on D.
