Good to see that UC is sticking with Coyne and Washington regardless of injuries. Also, love hearing about how the class is tight. It seems like we get lucky with this each year.

If this player gets his release, I assume he doesn't have to sit out a year?

I believe he still has to sit out a year per NCAA rules. Only way he wouldn't have to sit out a year is if the NCAA granted him a hardship waiver which from the little bit of info doesn't seem like that would apply in this case. I've wondered if we might land a transfer or two in the next couple of weeks before class starts from players looking to transfer while still using this year as their sit out year.

The release will be for egibility of a scholarship. He would still have to sit out a year. I wonder if he would be a RB after transfer. he was recruited as RB from his profiles.
