pt # 1: adam is the most pothetic excuse for a basketball player if he doesnt change! he is a P****! uncoordinated as H***!
Pt # 2: Why did mick let him stay in amy further then when he dropped that rebound to end our run.. what was adam planning on doing? Turning it up court so he decided to turn away from the ball? plus he needs to go to the ball on passes!
Pt # 3: if u watched our offense.. our two wing men whether it was alvin bishop or gentry would stand there and not move! did they not see how belmont backed doored us all night and move around on offense! its sad when u think that we could of learned alot from belmont even though we are young! Makes me question whether or not mick is a good on the court coach if he could not see what was happening to his defense and why his offense was not working? how could he not make that change at half time! the youth is no excuse b/c if they cant realize this as players or mick cant change it as a coach then the age of the players dont matter!
Pt #4: why did we let so many open threes.. i can understand if it happens once or twice but eventually realize it geez! adam would stand there while they would shoot wide open threes.. its beyond me how you could stay off the players so much to consistently give up open threes and at the same time get back doored all day there is no inbetween!
Pt #5: i understand wilks is coming along late but get him in there b/c he is the athletic player on this team and can rebound b/c he jumps he avg ove eleven last year! Couldnt of been any worse then the interior display out there!
I dont expect any replys to this post b/c what i say isnt up for discussion i may not be right about what i say but i want what i feel to be out there! call me mean or harsh idc this display of basketball was horrible! if any tempered coach was on the sidelines they may of been kicked out for their action.
I dont need to watch game tape to realize the problems but honestly i think i can realize more about tonight hten our own coach b/c if he realized this it would of changed during the second half! not giving up on mick but i am tonight that was bad coaching and poor play! also.. where is the effort! belmont... a mid major team played twice as hard as a team who has to face the toughest con in the nation which is bad signs for us if we dont fix alot and want it alot more!
Anyone that wants to defend adam b/c he had 15 pts and 7 reb must not of watched him closely!
As for the good thinks i was real impressed with davis.. good defense good vision and i love his moves with the ball! shoot real well.. everyone was off besides him which will change!
John was good on the boards and sikes had good postioning on the boards tonight!
Vaughn is big east ready and is such a good player and can score even better then last year.. his moves to the basket proved he can do it all ear!
U will see alvin and bishop knock down shots on the sidelines and i like the way alvin drives when he does drive.. finishing and learning when to pass will come with experience!
