He had the option to come back and he eventually wanted to. Unfortunately it was too late, Mick already was recruiting Vaughn and showed class by sticking with him.

I have no doubts he wanted to play for the prior 2 coaches. He also wanted to play for the current coach. I guess if you don't believe that we can assume Mick was lying, right?

Gerry Faust couldn't win a game w/ LSU's talent. Good recruiter tho. In two years, we'll find out if Weis is the same type. Before then, kinda early to jump on that bandwagon.

Crowell was a pretty decent back-up PG last season. Perhaps a coaching mistake to send him packing?

Nope. He needed to get some young talent in there. He made the right move.

Unfortunately PG. He belongs at SG. That's what he is. More talent but like Jihad Muhammad.
