lower lever shootout tickets available

i just bought four shootout tickets in the sideline portion of the lower bowl off uc's site. a few weeks ago there were none available and now there are. just an fyi for anyone interested.

I'm already going but just curious....did XU return some of their seat allocation or were these seats being held as package deals and are now available on an individual game basis?

I cannot believe UC gave these tickets to X. I'd imagine they were reserved for packages and recently became available.

I just swooped 3 in the lower arena. The "best available" barely got me into the lower arena. There may be more lower level tickets available as the game gets closer, but doubtful. The next best were in the upper level for $29/each.

uc wouldnt give xu their ticket allocation in the lower bowl. those seats are always in the upper corners. also, the package tickets were in the upper deck as well. i'm not sure who had the rights to these tickets or who they were being held for. regardless, if you check periodically on the site, tickets like this pop up.

Kind of bothers me that my season tickets seats are so bad because I can't afford the uCats contribution required for better seats. I wish i had the option to upgrade for specific games if those seats are going to be unused, I'd happily pay for that privilege.

Just ordered three in 105 row 25. Center Court. I can't believe StubHub has tickets 8 rows down for $275 a piece.

BTW anyone know how many rows there are in this section? I would really like to stand, but I know how the regular crowd is here.

After viewing this thread, I went on line & bought 3 tixs in 105 row 26 for the Shootout.
I can't believe they are available. But I got lower section for a great game.
Can't wait to kick some Muskie butts.

I just ordered five tickets. 2 for my wife and I and then 3 for the kids. $123 bucks for all five tickets. You can't beat that! I hate that it is a school night though. She may not be happy about that. Even if her and I go though $123 for two tickets is a steal of a deal at center court and chairbacks.

Individual seats. They are the black seats. The red bleachers do not have backs.

Awesome. How are these seats available? I looked at stub hub and all I could get for 5 seats were section 201 (upper corner) for $35 a ticket or 127 lower corner for $57 a ticket. These seats are a lot worse than what I got and a lot more expensive. Special thanks to dp3113 for starting this thread.

I would assume there will be quite a few Xavier fans at the game. They should be mostly in the upper section unless the students tickets don't sell out and those go on sail to the general public. In Mick's first year there were as many Xavier fans in the UC's student section as there were UC fans.

It was a lot of fun to send them home with a loss.

Be on the lookout for a black, Jordan Brand, Mel Levitt 21 jersey. I got lucky and got the end of the row seats. Seats 1 and 2!
