I have been extremely upset with this past weekend as i have shown in other threads.. mainly becuase of the lack of effort and lack of defense.. not trying to compare this team to any of huggins teams but i wish they would be as intense as those teams..

I feel good about the direction this program is headed... i just wish the intensity from the players and the coach would step up. Not questioning the coaching as much as i did after seeing the team improved this weekend as they went on, and thats a reflection of the coach fixing it because this team is too yound to fix alot of mistakes on its own. However, i am questioning the entensity of the players and the couches. Being in the big east will show then how bad they have to want it so i hope it improves.

I like the way they are headed as i said, but they need to want it more (not questioning micks intensity, he wants it almost too much), they just need to be more intense on the court. Intensity will also bring this young team more confidence, which is of course huge.

The talent will be there in the next few recruiting classes, if the intensity kicks into high gear by the time vaughn becomings a senoir, the cats will be talented enough, experienced enough, and tough enough to get back to the top ten. There is no dought in my mind about this, mick gets the talent, but talent can only get you so far, this leaves me "almost satisfied". I want a winning team so bad b/c im sticking through the bad times with this team. going through this makes my love for the program greater believe it or not, what do you guys think.. maybe its too early to tell?!
