Ok this may be a stupid question, but we all know that Jordan is supposed to be part of the 2010 class. Except on his Facebook page, he has it listed that he will graduate in '09. Am I missing something here?

Woah freak out...i never said anything to him. I have not bothered him at all. I am listed as his friend on the site therefore i can look at his wall. Again, haven't said anything to him so he is just fine. Relax....

you obviously don't know him personally...if he played for UC it would be one thing, but he is a high school player who is not committed to UC.

also, with the uk reference, that is my point- don't compare us to UK fans. we do not want to be stalkers like them and be invading 17 year olds lives like creeps.

Do you have a facebook page? Its not considered creepy. Its virtually public pages you create. If I asked how things are going or something then yes that would be creepy. But I did not and he is fine.

Maybe it was a typo or maybe his grades in math are not all that good.

I don't look at facebook (don't think I've even seen the website) but I know you create those websites for people to see/read. That is the whole point. I also know you can make them private....or maybe that's Myspace. Either way, if you think it's creepy, you should see what UK fans do. They are all over recruits pages posting messages that the player needs to be wearing "Kentucky blue" in the future. Then again, it is UK.

I don't go on Facebook to look at players' pages, but I don't see how its stalking. They can make it private and they can decide who they want as friends. If the kid added him as a friend then apparently he doesn't care who looks at his page. No one is forcing any of these kids to have Facebook pages either.

The whole point of facebook is to communicate. Its set up to find people and to link as "friends" even if you are not. Shawn Johnson and Michael Phelps have thousands of "friends" on their pages. Its common for high school athletes (especially, highly recruited) to have the pages. Its not a personal thing, its publicity and a newer form of communicating. dp3113, I'm thinking you may be a little out of touch on this one.

I'm friends with Sibert too and i've never spoken a word to him. It's a public area and if the player doesn't want to be your friend they can decline it.

Well that's your opinion. But anyway...I guess the 09 on facebook is not right but I dont really understand it and Im guessing none of you have the answer either. Oh well...

the only explanation i can think of is that this will in fact be his last year at Princeton, and he already has plans to go to prep school for another year making him a member of the class of 2010. Otherwise, I don't see why/how he would make the mistake on the his facebook page. Everyone knows what year they are graduating.
