Default Who's going to Pitt?

I know it's early, but I just booked my flight.

Figured that since I'd get to catch 1 more game before the bowl game, I'd rather fly to Pittsburgh to see the last game of the season and watch the remaining home games on TV. Since my season ticket is already paid for, I won't be contributing to less people in the stadium - I'm sure that I'll have no problem selling my ticket (UC fans only).

Hoping that this is the matchup that we're all waiting for...would be awesome to be undefeated going into this one...and afterwards as well.

I will be going with my brother and possibly friend and dad.

The only thing that sucks is that Moeller will be playing in the state championship game that night as well. I would have liked to been there for when they won. Oh well. UC is more important.

I was that the St. X state championship game 2 years ago and listened to the Pitt-WVU game on the drive back to Cincinnati. Here's to hoping that our result is different.

They have a travel package now to Pitt announced on GoBearcats.com. For those of you going, bring back the Big East trophy for us.

We're in the process of putting a group together and should hopefully have tickets within the next week. We'll probably have anywhere from four to six people in our group.

One thing that makes planning purposes a bit difficult is not knowing the specific game time yet since we're only planning on staying one night in a hotel. If it's a noon Saturday game, we'll head up Friday night and drive back after the game Saturday. If it's a late afternoon or evening game Saturday game, we'd head up on Saturday, stay the night, then head home on Sunday.

That's the day after my birthday! I might just try to talk the wife into driving up for that one as my birthday present.

Nice. I definitely expect UC fans to sell out our block of tickets, plus some. It's going to be a very hot ticket if this game is essentially the Big East championship game. Heinz field will be rocking - not 2/3 empty as it was 2 years ago:

A few friends and I are going to buy tickets to the Pitt game this week. What is the best route to purchasing these tickets and what section will the majority if Bearcats fans be located?

Buy them through UC and they are all together in the crappiest seats in the house.

Can I buy UC-Pitt tickets on GoBearcats.com? I'm searching on the site, but can't find it anywhere. I would normally go to the ticket office and get them, but I'm currently out of town. I'd prefer to buy online instead of over the phone.

Any info on this would be appreciated.

We have a crew of 19 going (plus some more friends-of-friends that are probably going too).

Just an FYI, we got $99/night 2-bedroom suites near the Pittsburgh airport.

We were lower level, end zone corner 2 years ago...I wouldn't call that the crappiest seats in the house. We were close enough to make some noise when the play was on our side of the field. Then again, there were probably only 1500-2000 UC fans there 2 years ago, so I think we can do a lot better this year.

If UC is undefeated at the time, I'll make the drive. I don't think tickets will be a problem, so I don't see the real need to plan that far ahead.

Our group didn't think tickets would be a problem at South Florida.

That's why we sat several rows from the top on the goal line.

Keep thinking that tickets won't be a problem and be prepared to take your binoculars with you.
