not to hijack the thread away from the personal bickering or anything, but not really knowing exactly what happened, I'm assuming this was minor enough that no legal trouble or suspension will take place. Does anyone have any information to lead them to suspect otherwise?

CincyEngGrad is knowledgable and has consistent strong opinions that are more often than not, very accurate. She has taken a lot of BS and personal attacks in this thread. I respect her opinions and her right to voice them. If this forum only had one viewpoint, it would be boring and wouldn't be worth anyone's time to read.

I have no doubt that she is a UC fan and wants this program to be successful. If Cronin is the one to bring us that success, she would back him 100%. Until then, we'll continue to have strong opinions on both side of the fence about his program.

I am not a Yancy Gates lover, but I sure hope he becomes the player we all thought he would be when we signed him. He has been a huge disappointment to me. His attitude this year will be a key component in either reversing this funk we have been in, or continuing the slide. I'v got my fingers crossed hoping that Mick pushes all the right buttons for a change.
c'mon now CincyEngGrad did you really have your dad come on here to defend you??
All it takes is one look at the posting history to see that CincyEngGrad is a troll who hates anything positive regarding UC. Look back through the season...never posts after a win, one of the most frequent posters after a loss. No posts after a positive story, all over the perceived negatives. "It" is a troll that refuses to go away. Thankfully, once UC starts winning consistently, we won't have to hear from CincyEngGrad again (until the next slump).

And to follow that up, it offends me since I am a graduate with a BS and MS from the engineering college.

I would be absolutely shocked if anyone took any legal action or if a suspension of any sort was to be handed down.

All of this over some pushing / shoving at a practice game? This is what this smells like and it's weak.

OK folks time to calm down on this one. I can't believe I'm thinking about closing a thread in the summer dead season.

Let's rehash a bit. Get your facts straight before you post or phrase it in the form of a question if you don't have the facts. Also, stop attacking other posters in the thread. If you have a complaint about another member go to a moderator via PM (this has already been done) and leave them alone in the thread. If you're going to constantly throw out negative posts about the program phrase it well. Dissenting opinions are welcome when supported by fact or quality opinion , rumors not so much. If you have questions on this PM one of the mods or Keith.

We are NOT reverting to last year's posting tenor. FACT.

sorry for adding to it - after reading on the beginning of the thread that he broke someone's jaw in a fight, I thought that it was perhaps a potential issue. I probably scrolled past the real story while avoiding the name calling posts.

The fact that a person is negative does not have anything to do with them being a Bearcat fan or not. We all love our program and want the best for it. Personally, I want us to be a perennial top 25 program and make the NCAA every year. I'm also smart enough to know that the Big East is tough and it could occasionally be difficult to win enough to make the tourney.

Obviously, most of the negativity on here surrounds the difference of opinion on whether our head coach is the right man for the job. There is plenty to argue for and against Mick Cronin. Until he does something significant for this program...or gets fired for a lack of progress, the huge difference of opinion will continue to exist.

In my opinion, there's nothing wrong with disagreement about Mick Cronin, as long as we are all in aggreement on one thing....we all support and love our school and this basketball program. In the end, either consistent winning, or consistent losing will eventually bring us all together.

Do you need CPR?

Yancy suspended from the summer league now.

First suspension I've heard in the summer league.

I meant from the UC team.

He wasn't planning on playing at Deveroe's anymore this summer after the fight anyway.

One of the XU players was suspended from summer league last year.

I don't believe you! An XU player doing anything untoward? According to the Enquirer that only happens at UC.
