Amazing that Coach Calipari is number 2 and Sabin number 1. "John Calipari represents every single thing that is wrong with college basketball. He illegally recruits the best recruits in the country, who will stay for one year and then bolt for the NBA. He builds up programs (UMASS, Memphis), and then leaves for a better job just in time to dodge the massive recruiting violations that are annually handed down by the NCAA. Oh yeah, and he has never won anything. Calipari is a slimy guy. More importantly, he is a Grade-A douche." |

I agree. However, I did find it humorous. However, with the exception of kiffin and maybe another, it seems that he is taking shots at very successful coaches and it does seem that he has an axe to grind. Maybe he has been refused interviews at times.
I will also apologize in advance if I miss an h or g in my spelling because those keys are sticking right now. |

At the time, they did not count JUCO players in graduation rates. I have never held the graduation rate against Huggins. If you look at the program guide that lists all graduates, most of his players did graduate. But again, very successful so this guy aims at him.

How about the coach who stayed behind after a game and got caught at a frat party at the away school? He did not make the list.
Also, I do not remember Pete Carrol on this list and he left USC in a near death penalty. Last edited by bearcatbret : 07-31-2010 at 05:02 PM. |
