Jamire Westbrook
RB
5'9"
185 lbs
Kings HS, OH

Offers: UC, Kansas, OU

Interest: IU, Michigan, Michigan St, Oregon, Tenn, Virginia

Has received an offer from UC.

Also per Mike Dyer has interest from osu. (They called this week)

Per Mike Dyer is the first UC player offered in 2012 class (not sure if I believe that) and is the first Kings player ever to be offered as a SO.

Good fit for a spread offense in college. Bad fit for an I-formation. JMO.

Yeah, but people at that school are huge OSU blowhards. I guarantee you they will be politicing hard for him to get an OSU offer and then to attend OSU. Just watch it play out.

I actually went to Kings and was blown away when I read about this....mainly because my high school is no football factory. To my knowledge, only one Kings player in history has ever been offered a D-1A scholarship, and that was to Buffalo back when they were among the very worst teams in the country. And even he wasn't offered until he was a senior.

If UC, a BCS conference team, is offering a Kings player a scholarship as a sophomore, my intuition tells me that this kid must be a darn good freaking player. And yes, if he continues to improve toward his potential, he will likely be offered many many more scholarships. There's something to be said for being the first school with your foot in the door, though.

sat behind jamire at the spring game on saturday. Dude is BIG for 16! Coach Elder came up in the stands and talked to him, his mom, and his coach. Would love to see him become a bearcat!

This kids offer list are going to jump a lot this summer I think. Getting heavy interest from Oregon per Mike Dyer.
