All of this Basketball reminds me how close we were to having the Big East/Big 12 remnant merger... and how awesome that would be right now.

A Big East with Kansas, Baylor, Iowa State, Mizzou, and Kansas state would have been the greatest basketball league in history.

And yes, I know it still is top to bottom, but that would have been real neat.

Dangit.

I am pretty excited about the new Big East, at least for football.
