Only 6 Schools could Do It

UC ends up ranked in both football and basketball this year. Only six schools can say that; Cincinnati, Michigan State, Baylor, Wisconsin, Florida State, and Michigan.

What does this mean? Is this a big deal? If Baylor could do it, maybe it’s not a big deal? But look at all the big “name” schools that could not do it. The Ohio States of the world surely don’t want to hear about this.

How will UC market this? How can UC make this mean something? (If a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it………)

Is it really enough to just win?

Make your alumni aware of this fact and get as much mileage out of it in the national media as possible. This really is a BIG deal, in my opinion. Sell your alumni base and donors on the idea of how much more UC could do with more financial support.

That is very impressive. I agree that this should be "advertised".

For tO$U fanbase, 4 of the 6 schools on the list are almost exactly the ones they least want to see on it. If only it were Florida instead of FSU, and it would be a perfectly hilarious list from that standpoint.

It'd be a sweet stat to put on a billboard on 71 & 75, listing the schools with Cincinnati bolded of course.

Also, we should really play up that we had the most wins vs the top 25 in the country. That is HUGE!! When Mick was on Rome, he did not bring it up. Maybe that's a good thing. May not have looked right?? But our PR/Marketing arms of the Athletic Dept need to be on all of these things.
