Former Bearcat wins game for Florence Freedom

Former University of Cincinnati Bearcat Jim Jacquot, a catcher for the Florence Freedom, hit a game-winning, two-run homer in the bottom of the 9th Saturday against the Traverse City Beach Bums to give the team its first win of the season.

Jim Jacquot is a 6-1, 200 lb. catcher from St. Loius, MO. From 2007-2008, he attended and played for Southwestern Illinois University, but then transferred to the University of Cincinnati for his junior and senior seasons. In 2010, he was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Chicago White Sox.
