Did you want them to draft him in the first round? D. Wolfe is good, but he is not first round good. And he was gone by the time the Bengals drafted in the second round.

i've got news for you otto, wolfe was being considered by several teams in round one and that was reported several weeks before the draft. we'll see how the cb from the sec school does, but the bengallies have a long history of underachieving draft picks. they are especially proficient in picking bodies, instead of character and hardworkers. the elite of the nfl find ways to get guys they know can help them. this organization is/has been about as poor in that area as anyone in the nfl. it's not a borderline call.

I don't question what you say about the Bengals. But DWolfe did not belong in the first round.
The Bengals job is to pick who they think will help them the best when it is their turn to pick. They already have some depth in the dline. Just becuase Wolfe played at UC shouldn't matter when they draft. Unless we are talking about round 6 or 7. |

like trent cole, the scouts will look back in 5 years and realize wolfe was a first rounder. the curse/advanatge(depending on the perspective) of not playing in a power conference.
