Default Butch: The Great Recruiter

Just a good article about Butch Jones and his ability to relate to recruits and provide an edge in bringing higher ranked recruits to the UC football "Family".

Original article from "gobearcats"

Imagine how much easier it will be for him to bring in recruits once we land that Major Media Deal in September.

And by extension once Nippert 2.0 is complete.

Aren't they still struggling to sell-out Nippert as is?

You are assuming an upgrade means only more seats, when in reality it also would include other things to make gameday better for those that show up...which in turn helps fill seats.

I believe ESPN has exclusive negotiating rights for 60 days. I doubt that anything is done until mid to late November at the earliest. IMO they should go with NBC if the money is there. NBC will provide better exposure for the Big East than being 4th in the pecking order @ ESPN/ABC and being shuffled off to ESPN3 all the time.

Default Recruiting Review: Cincinnati | CBS

The Cincinnati Bearcats have a lot of work to do if they expect to continue their trend of Big East football semi-dominance. The Bearcats have won or shared the conference title three out of the last four years, but now they will have to do it with a bunch of new faces.

Here are three of Cincinnati's most important commitments to this point:

1. Marcus Levy, RB, Fort Pierce (Fla.)
2. Mykel Traylor-Bennett, WR, Reynoldsburg (Ohio)
3. Jaleel Canty, CB, Lansing (Mich.):
