Default George Jackson

Will Coach Jackson be on Coach Cronin's staff this coming year? I know he had some health issues.

Don't know for sure. If he needs to replace him where do you go? Dan Fleming would be an excellent one for sure since he was a big man but I doubt he ever leaves LaSalle even though his son is done there. Of course I said the same thing about Coombs at Colerain first and then at UC.

Job Opening for an assistant coach http://ncaamarket.ncaa.org/searchv3/...=4781587&SEO=1

Not sure the correct forum for this, and I'm not implying Jackson is gone because I don't know but just spreading the word.

The coaching search has been going on for a while. thoughts have ranged from somebody from TX and someone from DC. Melvin Levett is interested but admits he's not a recruiter. We'll see.

If Cronin was smart, he'd approach Jared Davis. He will work hard and has a great basketball IQ. I think he is still playing, but I would work to convince him!

Don't all the coaches do some recruiting?? Is Levitt admitting that is not his forte?? Is he saying he does not want to recruit? Please elaborate. Very intersting. Would love to see the Helicopter on the bench.

Are you thinking Jamaal Davis? He was one of Huggins' high basketball IQ guys.

Check out this Enquirer story from the Davis, Logan, Stokes days (2000).

Montrezl Harrell has a great relationship with fired VT coach Seth Greenberg... (not going to happen, but it's okay to dream, right?)

Kenyon Martin....enough said. Of course his NBA career is still going good so I'll take Eric Hicks as option 2.

Would be nice, no?

I was hoping Mick would have figured out how to get Bobby Lutz on staff when he got canned too!
