Buckeyes fold under pressure. Great game & outcome.
Go Kansas.

Deshaun Thomas was due to have a bad game. I just wish it would have come against the 'Cats. But, very happy tO$U will not advance. Kentucky should handle Kansas easily, but Kansas has played well in the underdog role.

Two things I found exceptionally satisfying. First, despite Ohio State getting every first half call to go their way (e.g. the Craft trip and fall that was called a charge on Kansas is just one example), they still could pull off the win as the heavy favorite. Second, at the game's finale, Ohio State's slim chances of pulling off a win were squandered in the final 3 seconds when they were unprepared for the Kansas in-bound pass because Ohio State was standing around whining and complaining to the referees about the lane violation call on Craft on the previous play. The Buckeyes have spent a whole season flopping, acting, complaining and begging for fouls much to their benefit so it is only fitting that their fate was sealed and this season's chapter closed in part as a result of them complaining and whining instead of focusing on playing basketball. Couldn't have been any more appropriate that a season lacking a modicum of dignity would end in such an undignified manner.

If Jeff Withey (7'0") and Thomas Robinson stay out of foul trouble this game could get interesting. Withey is not much of an offensive threat, but he's pretty good at defending the low post and blocking shots. Kentucky may have to actually work at it to score inside tonight.
