Former UC player Rodney Crawford joins EKU coaching staff

Former Duquesne assistant and Cincinnati Bearcat Rodney Crawford has joined the Eastern Kentucky University basketball staff, EKU coach Jeff Neubauer announced Monday.

Crawford played for Bob Huggins at Cincinnati from 2000-02. The Bearcats went 56-14 in his two seasons with back-to-back NCAA tournament appearances.

“Rodney is an outstanding addition to our coaching staff,” Neubauer said. “He brings a wealth of experience as a player, a prep school head coach and as an assistant in the Atlantic 10 for the last two years. We anticipate that he will make a major impact in our recruiting, especially in his home state of Ohio.”
