Back on subject. There's an additional source of income for UC once the Big East gets their TV contract that I haven't seen mentioned. If this contract leads to more exposure, UC will be able to charge more for advertising. Not to mention, we might also be able to get some bigger sponsors. An example - a P&G isn't going to sponsor anything at UC if UC isn't a national (or international) brand. Get UC on NBC once a week nationally and you might see someone like P&G throwing some money at some advertising in the Nipp. More exposure = more viewers = more interest = more money = stronger program. A lucrative TV contract would lead to other sources of income, giving UC athletics more stability. It might get some local sponsors off their butts too. We'll see I guess.
