Does anybody know if UC has ever landed (and actually had play) a 4-star recruit. Was Pead? I just know that most all of our recruits are 3stars with some 2s sprinkled in. Frustrating to see half of these 4stars that go to your big 4 conferences and never heard from again because they all have a stable of recievers/backs and they end up buried on the depth chart. I wonder if these kids ever look at that or do all seriously think, "ohh ya I'll walk into OSU and beat out all the 5-star athletes already there and all the new ones that come in every year behind me... sorry venting because we could use kids like this guy but after looking at his offer sheet really no chance he comes here.

This is correct depending on the rating service but yes Poteat is a 4 star. And we now have a 5 star transfer in Jeff Luc at LB.

Hazelton was a top 10 player. Dylan Lewis was a 4 star and is a sophomore (maybe junior), poteat was a four star, I think Chris Williams was a 4 star. I think I want him more because it was cause serious mental trauma to the retardinal fan base.

it's funny as we're not even listed on his schools of choice in two of the three services. oh well, if you make the to 5 and they miss it or choose to, your coaching staff in my mind is doing a very good job of selling.

Quick's list has changed a bit. He said Louisville on top followed by Ohio State, Oregon, Kentucky and Tennessee. Vols replace Cincy on list |

Got to wonder if hiring such a WR friendly coach will put us back in the mix for James. Couldnt hurt.

TT should be working the phones as much as is allowed by NCAA rules. It never hurts to ask!
